McKinley Vaughan, originally from Salt Lake City, Utah, now based in Nashville, Tennessee. Is a guitar player, singer-songwriter and, producer.
McKinley started playing guitar in middle school after he sprained his ankle in gym class. With not much to do, he picked up an old guitar off a friend of his and began teaching himself using YouTube. After a year of online learning, he got put in proper lessons. Studying under Jon Dansie (2010-2013) and Johnny London (2014-2021). In high school, he started his rock band, Eat Crow, which gained a lot of traction all around the local music scene of northern Utah. McKinley later reformed the band in 2019 and released a number of singles.
From the time he turned eighteen, he found himself working as a hired musician in the world of country music. Where he has had the incredible opportunity to share the stage with some of the biggest names in the industry. Including; Luke Combs, Lindsay Ell, Rodney Atkins, Midland, Carly Pearce, Locash, A Thousand Horses, Clint Black, Russell Dickerson, Cody Johnson, Hardy, and an array of other talented artists.
In 2021, he took the leap into a solo career. Taking influence from The Wallflowers, Tom Petty, and John Hiatt.
Alongside this venture, McKinley still currently plays guitar for various artists such as Carver Louis, Liam Wall, Mina Roth, FULL SNOW MOON, and Eat Crow.
